Um estudante foi preso após esquartejar o colega que dividia apartamento com ele, em um condomínio no conjunto Augusto Franco, bairro Farolândia. O autor do crime, na tentativa de se livrar do corpo, colocou os membos em uma mala e acionou um veículo que faz transporte por aplicativo.
Ao tentar acessar o veículo, funcionários do condomínio e próprio motorista perceberam manchas de sangue no estudante e na mala, desconfiando da situação. A Polícia foi acionado e constatou o crime.
Segundo informações preliminares, os dois estudantes são de outro estado e teriam discutido momentos antes de acontecer o crime. Ainda não se sabe a motivação do crime e nem o momento exato em que ele aconteceu.
A guarnição efetuou a prisão do autor, conduzindo-o para a Central de Flagrantes. O Instituto Médico Legal e a Criminalística se deslocaram até o local para recolher o corpo e iniciar o trabalho de investigação.
