O senador Laércio Oliveira (Progressistas) acompanhou a solenidade de posse do governador eleito Fábio Mitidieri e do vice-governador, Zezinho Sobral, ocorrida neste domingo, 1º de janeiro, na Assembleia Legislativa de Sergipe. Antes, ele também participou da Missa em Ação de Graças ocorrida na Catedral, celebrada pelo arcebispo metropolitano da Arquidiocese de Aracaju, Dom João José Costa.
“A posse é o primeiro passo para a construção de uma transformação pelo nosso Estado. Todos os compromissos do governador Fábio Mitidieiri serão cumpridos em favor da sociedade e eu estarei ao seu lado contribuindo para que tudo aquilo que nós pregamos possamos atender, porque esse é o anseio da sociedade. E ela quer políticos assim: que tenham palavra e que busquem a solução daquilo que foi pregado”, disse Laércio.
Ao final, foram prestadas as honras militares ao governador na área externa da Assembleia, com a revista à tropa.
Em seguida, aconteceu a transmissão de cargo na sacada do Palácio-Museu Olímpio Campos, quando o então governador Fábio Mitidieri recebeu a faixa do agora ex-governador Belivaldo Chagas.
