Um homem de 27 anos morreu após tentar se salvar de um incêndio em um prédio de 12 andares em Campinas (SP) na manhã desta quarta-feira (1). Imagens feitas por moradores mostram a vítima pendurada na janela enquanto muita fumaça e fogo tomavam conta do imóvel.
Ele estava no 11º andar e resistiu por alguns minutos antes de cair. O helicóptero Águia da Polícia Militar chegou a ser acionado e sobrevoou o condomínio, que fica no Jardim Samambaia, mas não chegou a pousar.
Ele caiu de uma altura de cerca de 40 metros. O óbito foi confirmado pelo médico do Serviço de Atendimento Móvel de Urgência (Samu).
O incêndio começou perto das 6h30, e por volta das 7h30 o fogo já havia sido controlado pelo Corpo de Bombeiros. Os moradores foram orientados a sair do prédio por conta das chamas e da fumaça. O condomínio se chama Meinhaus.
A identidade da vítima ainda não foi revelada. Segundo os bombeiros, não há outras pessoas feridas e outros apartamentos não foram atingidos.
“A gente não sabe ainda o que causou as chamas, estamos aguardando a perícia. O local está seguro, o fogo foi extinto, mas o apartamento está totalmente danificado. Foi queimada a área da cozinha, sala e demais ambientes por causa da caloria e da fumaça.”, disse o tenente Lira.
