No início da manhã desta quinta-feira (2), foi resgatado com vida um homem na área em baixo da ponte sobre o rio Vaza Barris, entre Lagarto e São Domingos.
Era por volta das 07h19 quando a guarnição do 5° GBM foi acionada para uma busca e salvamento na ponte que liga os municípios de Lagarto a São Domingos. A vítima havia entrada na mata ontem no final da tarde e populares acreditavam que a mesma havia se jogado da ponte, o que não se confirmou.
Conforme informações do Corpo de Bombeiros, o homem que completou 33 anos hoje, estava transtornado e ao entrar em meio a vegetação caiu de um penhasco de aproximadamente 10 metros.
O local era de difícil acesso e a guarnição usou técnicas de salvamento terrestre e atendimento pré-hospitalar para transportar a vítima que apresentava uma fratura no tornozelo e na tíbia, além de escoriações e ferimento abrasivo.
A vítima foi entregue para a equipe do SAMU que se encontrava às margens da rodovia e foi levada ao hospital.
