Equipes das Delegacias de Boquim e Pedrinhas flagraram uma situação de maus-tratos contra dois cachorros. O caso resultou na prisão de um homem pelo crime de maus-tratos contra animais na cidade de Pedrinhas. A ação policial foi divulgada nesta sexta-feira, 12.
De acordo com o delegado Josenildo Brito, as equipes do serviço de investigação das delegacias estavam em diligências para o cumprimento de um mandado de busca e apreensão quando flagraram os maus-tratos contra os cachorros.
Os animais apresentavam desnutrição, viviam em ambiente sem higiene adequada e sem alimento, sendo assim, foram resgatados pelos policiais e encaminhados à ONG Amigos pra Cachorro, que providenciou alimentação, e atendimento veterinário”, detalhou.
Ainda conforme o delegado, existem várias condutas que podem caracterizar os crimes “Tais como: abandono, ferir, mutilar, envenenar, manter em locais pequenos sem possibilidade de circulação e sem higiene, não abrigar do sol, chuva ou frio, não alimentar, não dar água, negar assistência veterinária se preciso, dentre outras”, acrescentou.
A Polícia Civil solicita que informações e denúncias sobre crimes de maus-tratos contra os animais sejam repassadas à polícia por meio do Disque-Denúncia, no telefone 181. O sigilo do denunciante é garantido.
