Nesta quarta-feira, 17, a prefeita de Lagarto, Hilda Ribeiro, se reuniu com os representantes da Sergipe Gás S.A. (Sergas) respectivamente: Álvaro Morares (Diretor Técnico e Comercial), Pablo Yutaka (Gerente Comercial) e John Kenedy (Engenheiro), para uma urgente e importantíssima pauta: a implantação do gás natural encanado no município de Lagarto.
“A Sergas está ampliando seus negócios no Estado de Sergipe e neste momento, atendendo a um pedido da prefeita Hilda, iniciamos os estudos técnico e econômico, para devida avaliação para que sua expansão contemple o município de Lagarto e região”, afirmou Álvaro Moraes.
“Gás encanado na cidade, é um antigo anseio da nossa população, mas que infelizmente foi rejeitado e seguiu ignorado por gestões passadas. A nossa Administração entende que é um investimento que pode gerar muitos recursos econômicos e mais desenvolvimento para o município. Neste momento a nossa gestão centraliza este diálogo e as negociações com a Sergas, para torná-lo realidade. Lagarto tem posição geográfica estratégica no Estado, além de uma indústria pulsante. A vinda do gás natural colocará o município na rota do desenvolvimento, sobretudo com as novas descobertas de jazidas no Estado”, comentou a gestora.

O Gás encanado atenderia não só as necessidades das indústrias locais, atraindo novas empresas para o município; assim como todo o comércio, residências e obviamente os proprietários de veículos por meio do GNV (gás natural veicular) instalado em postos de combustíveis.
