O presidente Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva editou decreto na noite da última quinta-feira, 1º, que garante o pagamento de adicional de 50% no auxílio gás até o fim do ano.
O adicional foi incluído na Medida Provisória que retomou o programa Bolsa Família, aprovada hoje no Senado.
Desde janeiro, o governo já tinha previsto o pagamento do valor extra por meio da edição de uma medida provisória, que entrou em vigor imediatamente.
No entanto, essa medida, para continuar valendo, precisava ser aprovada pela Câmara e pelo Senado em até 120 dias. A MP nem chegou a ser analisada pelo Congresso e perdeu a validade. Porém, os parlamentares incorporaram a previsão do adicional na MP do Bolsa Família, que agora vai para sanção do presidente Lula.
O auxílio gás visa ajudar famílias de baixa renda na compra de gás de cozinha. Com o decreto, cada família vai receber metade do valor de um botijão de 13kg de GLP. Como o auxílio normal e o adicional são iguais, ou seja metade do valor, as famílias irão receber o equivalente à média de um botijão. O auxílio e o adicional serão depositados a cada dois meses.
