A gestão municipal de Itabaiana informou na noite desta sexta-feira (9), através de sua assessoria de imprensa, que vai cumprir a determinação judicial que desclassifica a vencedora do Concurso da Rainha dos Caminhoneiros de Itabaiana de 2023, Katiane Menezes, 32 anos, por não cumprimento da regra do concurso referente a idade máxima de 25 anos.
De acordo com a assessoria, uma reunião foi realizada nesta sexta-feira (9), com representantes da vencedora e da segunda colocada do concurso, Endilly Barreto Gois, onde a prefeitura apresentou três propostas: anular o concurso e abrir uma votação on-line com o duas com as duas candidatas; que a segunda colocada assumisse o título e automaticamente a eleita em 2023 fosse rainha no próximo ano; e ainda a proposta que as duas fossem intituladas rainhas desta edição. No entanto, não houve acordo entre as partes.
Ainda segundo a assessoria, neste sábado deve ser anunciada a data de coroação de Endilly Barreto Gois como Rainha dos Caminhoneiros.
