Foram liberados do Instituto Médico Legal Estácio de Lima (IML) de Maceió, nesta terça-feira, 18, os corpos dos irmãos Gabriel Bernardo e Gustavo Bernardo, de 11 e 16 anos, que morreram afogados nesta segunda-feira, 17, na Praia de Peroba, em Maragogi, Litoral Norte de Alagoas.
O pai das vítimas, que é de Tomar do Geru, estava com ele e um sobrinho de 16 anos. De acordo com o Corpo de Bombeiros de Alagoas, eles residiam há muito tempo em São Paulo e chegaram a Maragogi no domingo, 16.
O grupo estava uma costa de corais quando foram surpreendidos por uma forte onda. Os adolescentes caíram no mar. O pai conseguiu salvar o sobrinho, mas não conseguiu salvar os filhos.
O desaparecimento foi registrado por volta das 10h. Bombeiros e mergulhadores civis participaram das buscas. Os corpos só foram encontrados por volta das 12h10 por um mergulhador civil, submersos a 5 m de profundidade.
Tio e sobrinho foram atendidos pelo Serviço de Atendimento Móvel de Urgência (Samu) e encaminhados para a Unidade de Pronto Atendimento (UPA) de Maragogi.
Os velórios e sepultamentos ocorrerão em Tomar do Geru.
