O Democracioa Cristã (DC), está se organizando em todo o Estado de Sergipe, para as eleições municipais de 2024, os diretórios municipais estão se movimentando e atraindo grandes nomes da política sergipana para o partido, em vários municípios já tem nomes confirmados para as pré-candidaturas, afirma Airton Costa presidente do DC em Sergipe.
Em Simão Dias foi apresentado o nome do Dr. Rui Doria, o mesmo é cirurgião buco-maxiliar e foi vereador em 2012, já foi candidato a prefeito nas elições de 2008.
Dr. Rui afirma que está montando uma equipe forte no município para disputar as eliçõies de igual para igual, com os demais candidatos que surgirão até o pleito em outibro de 2024.
