No último sábado (22), uma mulher, de 38 anos, morreu afogada ao tentar salvar o filho, de 7 anos. O caso aconteceu em um rio no município de Salto do Céu, Mato Grosso. As informações são do G1.
A mãe da criança foi identificada como Betânia Ferreira Neto. O filho dela foi resgatado por policiais militares.
O pai do menino também foi resgatado. Ele e o garoto estava em um barranco, às margens do rio.
Segundo a polícia, a correnteza estava muito forte, o que dificultou a travessia. Cordas e uma boia improvisadas foram usadas para resgatar pai e filho.
O corpo da mãe foi encontrado no mesmo dia, em outra margem, e foi retirado da água por moradores da comunidade.
Um médico do hospital municipal foi ao local e confirmou o óbito. O corpo da vítima foi levado para o Instituto Médico Legal (IML).
