Policiais das Delegacias de Neópolis e Japoatã cumpriram o mandado de prisão temporária contra um homem suspeito de ter cometido o duplo homicídio que vitimou um casal de idosos no último domingo, 20, no Povoado Ladeiras, em Japoatã. A ação policial ocorreu na tarde desta quarta-feira, 23, também no Povoado Ladeiras.
De acordo com o delegado Paulo Nunes, que está à frente do caso, a Polícia Civil iniciou a investigação logo após o crime. “No momento do fato, foi apontado o indivíduo como suspeito, no entanto, naquele momento não havia, ainda, elementos suficientes para realizar o flagrante. No entanto, diligências posteriores, ainda esta semana, deram conta dos elementos suficientes para entrar ontem com o pedido de prisão temporária, hoje autorizado pela Justiça”, frisou o delegado.
A partir da emissão do mandado de prisão, os policiais partiram em buscas e flagraram o suspeito circulando pelo Povoado Ladeira, causando visível temor na comunidade. “Informamos que as pessoas do Povoado Ladeiras podem se sentir tranquilas, para colaborar com a Polícia Civil, no sentido de trazer mais informações e elementos, para que esse crime tenha uma solução rápida e eficaz”, concluiu o delegado Paulo Nunes.
A Polícia Civil reforça que, com a prisão temporária do suspeito, que é vizinho das vítimas, novas diligências serão realizadas, para comunicar ao Ministério Público e ao Poder Judiciário todo o cenário e as informações acerca da motivação da prática do duplo homicídio ocorrido no município de Japoatã. Assim, os trabalhos da Delegacia de Japoatã continuam nos próximos dias.
