Visando a preservação do meio ambiente com o fortalecimento contínuo da infraestrutura verde do município, a Prefeitura de Estância, em parceria com a Companhia de Saneamento de Sergipe – DESO, realiza diariamente a distribuição gratuita de mudas nativas à população.
Ao propiciar a doação gratuita das espécies para o replantio em diversas áreas, o poder público garante inúmeros benefícios futuros ao município, como o equilíbrio térmico, o sequestro de gases do efeito estufa, a mitigação e resiliência frente às mudanças climáticas, bem como sombra e abrigo à fauna silvestre.
A distribuição das mudas ocorre de segunda a sexta na sede da Secretaria Municipal do Meio Ambiente, localizada na Rua Marquês do Herval, n°40, Centro, no horário de 07h às 13h.
