Um homem de 32 anos foi atingido na cabeça por um aparelho de musculação após a máquina quebrar em uma academia em Pacatuba, na Região Metropolitana de Fortaleza. O aluno passa bem, depois de fazer exames e ser liberado pelos médicos.
O acidente aconteceu no último dia 18 de setembro, mas só foi divulgado após o aluno ter acesso ao vídeo, nesta quinta-feira (28).
A vítima, Abraão Viana, mais conhecido nas redes sociais como Menino Juam, trabalha como vendedor e digital influencer. Ele estava no aparelho conhecido como peck deck, usado para exercitar a área superior do corpo, quando o cabo da máquina, que erguia o peso de 50 quilos, rompeu.
Com o peso solto, os dois “braços” da máquina ficaram soltos e o movimento do exercício que Juam estava executando acabou fazendo com que as peças se chocassem direto com as laterais da sua cabeça, na região das têmporas.
“A pancada foi muito forte e nesse momento eu não consegui enxergar mais nada. Eu não lembro se eu desmaiei, eu só sei que me levaram nos braços, duas pessoas, que um era o gerente e o outro era um instrutor, me levaram para dentro de um carro e levaram para UPA”.
Após receber atendimento na UPA municipal de Pacatuba, Juam foi encaminhado para o hospital Instituto Dr. José Frota, em Fortaleza, onde passou por exames para entender a gravidade do acidente.
“Eu cheguei lá de cadeira de roda, eu não conseguia respirar direito, eu não conseguia falar direito porque doía muito e até mesmo com os olhos fechados, todo ensanguentado”, relembra.
Após realizar uma tomografia e passar por outros exames, Juam foi liberado pela equipe médica. Ele passou uma semana em casa, sem trabalhar, tomando remédios para dor.
Conforme o influencer, a equipe da academia ajudou em todo o processo de recuperação e pagou pela medicação que precisava. De acordo com ele, a máquina foi consertada e está sendo utilizada normalmente na academia.
Na última terça-feira (26), Juam voltou a frequentar a academia e até voltou a treinar no aparelho em que se acidentou. “Fui fazer o mesmo exercício, o cabo já tinha sido trocado. Só que eu voltei um pouco com medo, né, querendo ou não, depois dessa pancada 50 kg na cabeça”, revela.
A Academia Corpo e Ação informou, em nota, que a máquina não apresentou falhas, “apenas um rompimento do cabo que é comum de acontecer em máquinas que têm cabos de aço”. Disse ainda que prestou todo o atendimento pré-hospitalar devido e adequado à situação.
