Uma adolescente morreu afogada durante uma excusão escolar em uma chácara localizada no município de Canindé de São Francisco (SE) no último sábado (7). Ela estudava no Colégio Estadual Luiz Viana Filho, na cidade de Santa Brígida (BA), e estava participando do passeio como convidada, pois era de outra turma do ensino médio.
Segundo relatos de testemunhas, ela teria ido nadar no rio com um grupo de alunos depois do almoço e desapareceu. Um dos professores ouviu os gritos alertando acerca do afogamento e mergulhou imediatamente em uma tentativa de resgate, mas não teve sucesso.
A vítima foi encontrada morta próximo à cidade de Piranhas (AL) por uma equipe de salva-vidas, que passava pela área no momento do acidente. O corpo foi recolhido pelo Instituto Médico Legal.
