A gestão do prefeito Binho segue colocando São Domingos em posição de destaque, tanto é que a Educação receberá a medalha de bronze no quesito escola melhor avaliada da região agreste de Sergipe. O reconhecimento é resultado do destaque obtido pela Escola Municipal Prof. Ivanilde da Silva na prova Saese.
“Isso é um demonstrativo de que nossa gestão é seriamente compromissada com a educação do município. Nossos parabéns a todos que contribuem para o excelente desempenho da Escola Municipal Prof. Ivanilde da Silva”, comemorou a gestão municipal.
O Saese é realizado pelo Governo do Estado e foi aplicado pela segunda vez com o objetivo de aferir os níveis de alfabetização e de aprendizagem em Língua Portuguesa e Matemática das escolas de Sergipe, com o intuito de ser um dos indicadores para gerar o Índice de Desempenho Escolar em Sergipe (Idese).
