O porta-voz das IDF (Forças de Defesa de Israel, em português), Daniel Hagari, afirmou nesta 4ª feira (8.nov.2023) que o Hamas“perdeu o controle”do norte da Faixa de Gaza, enquanto as forças israelenses“aumentam a intensidade do ataque”em direção à Cidade de Gaza.
“Nós vimos 50.000 habitantes de Gaza se deslocarem do norte da Faixa de Gaza para o sul. Eles estão se movendo porque entendem que o Hamas perdeu o controle no norte”, disse o porta-voz do exército israelense em um comunicado a imprensa.
Segundo Hagari, o grupo extremista“perdeu o controle e está continuando a perdê-lo no norte”.Disse que ainda não há um cessar-fogo em discussão, mas que Israel tem permitido pausas humanitárias para que os moradores do território se desloquem para o sul.
Nos últimos dias, as Forças de Defesa de Israel assumiram o controle da cidade de Beit Hanoun, ao norte da Faixa de Gaza, enquanto“reprimiam terroristas, túneis e infraestrutura militar do Hamas”, de acordo com uma publicaçãodo porta-voz israelense no X (ex-Twitter).
“Desde o início da operação terrestre, as forças da IDF eliminaram centenas de terroristas, incluindo membros graduados da organização Hamas, nas áreas de Beit Hanoun e Jabalia”, escreveu.
Nesta 4ª (8.nov), autoridades governamentais de Israel também divulgaram imagens de civis deixando a região norte de Gaza por meio do corredor humanitário estabelecido pelas forças israelenses.
