No dia 8 de novembro de 2023, o Município de São Domingos foi surpreendido com a presença da Polícia Federal, em decorrência de uma operação direcionada à empresa ELITE TRANSPORTES E LOCAÇÕES EIRELI, que está sob investigação por possíveis irregularidades em processos licitatórios em diversos municípios.
A Prefeitura Municipal, ciente da importância de fornecer informações claras à população, sente-se na responsabilidade de detalhar os eventos conhecidos até o momento. A operação concentra-se na referida empresa e nos processos licitatórios, incluindo aqueles realizados no Município de São Domingos, nos quais a empresa participou por meio de um Pregão com diversos concorrentes.
É fundamental destacar que, no momento atual, a ELITE TRANSPORTES E LOCAÇÕES EIRELI não possui contratos ativos com o Município de São Domingos, tendo sido rescindido justamente devido a inadequações na prestação de serviços.
A gestão municipal reitera o compromisso em colaborar plenamente com as autoridades, colocando-se à disposição para fornecer os esclarecimentos necessários durante as investigações. Além disso, reafirma o compromisso inabalável com a transparência e a legalidade em todas as suas ações.
