Um tornado de pequena proporção, classificado como F0 na escala Fujita, atingiu a zona rural de Estrela de Alagoas, nesta quinta-feira, 22, na região do povoado Lageiro dos Nicácios, causando danos em cerca de 10 residências. O fenômeno, pouco comum na região, destelhou casas e derrubou paredes, mas felizmente não houve feridos.
A Secretaria de Estado do Meio Ambiente (Semarh-AL) confirmou a ocorrência do tornado, destacando o aumento da instabilidade sobre o estado de Alagoas, favorecido pela presença de um Vórtice Ciclônico de Altos Níveis (VCAN) sobre o oceano.
