A Pesquisa Mensal de Serviços divulgada na última quarta-feira, 13, pelo Instituto Brasileiro de Geografia e Estatística (IBGE), mostra que Sergipe registrou um crescimento expressivo de 13,2% no índice sobre o volume de serviços. O resultado posiciona o estado como o 2º do Nordeste, com a maior variação, e 3º no ranking nacional, no comparativo de setembro de 2023 e setembro de 2024.
Na receita nominal de setembro, Sergipe apresentou um crescimento estável de 1,1%, alinhado à média nacional. “Isso indica uma recuperação sólida e a efetividade das políticas locais para fortalecimento do setor. Além disso, o estado ocupa a 3º colocação no âmbito regional e 9ª colocação no âmbito nacional”, destaca a gerente de Estatística da Secretaria de Estado do Trabalho, Emprego e Empreendedorismo (Seteem), Gislaine Gois.
Acumulado
O estado apresentou também um crescimento acumulado de 6,1% no volume de serviços no ano de 2024, em relação ao mesmo período de 2023, e uma variação positiva de 6% nos últimos 12 meses, em comparação aos 12 meses anteriores. Em relação ao acumulado no ano, Sergipe ocupa a 2º posição nacional, ficando atrás apenas do Amazonas (8,5%) e com relação ao acumulado em 12 meses, o estado ocupa a 1º posição nacional.
Quanto ao acumulado no ano, na receita nominal, Sergipe ocupa a 1ª posição regional (12,9%) e a 2ª posição no ranking nacional, atrás apenas do Amazonas (14%). Ainda fazendo uma referência ao acumulado em doze meses, o estado ocupa a 1ª posição no Nordeste (11,9%) e a 2ª posição no Brasil, ficando atrás do Tocantins (12%).
Comércio Varejista
Já na Pesquisa Mensal de Comércio, referente ao mês de setembro, o IBGE revela o crescimento significativo do setor de comércio sergipano. Sergipe destaca-se ocupando a 2° posição no Nordeste e 4° posição nacional considerando o índice de volume de vendas do comércio varejista (2,9%). Já o índice de volume de vendas do comércio varejista ampliado (2,6%) coloca o estado em 3ª posição no Nordeste e 6° posição nacional.
Segundo Gislaine, a Pesquisa Mensal do Comércio tem como objetivo produzir indicadores que permitam acompanhar a evolução conjuntural do comércio varejista e do comércio varejista ampliado, e de seus principais segmentos. Vale ressaltar que a receita nominal foca no valor monetário das vendas, sem ajuste para inflação e volume foca na quantidade física de vendas, eliminando o efeito de preços.
“O desempenho positivo dos setores de serviços e comércio, reflexo da efetividade das políticas locais, reforça o potencial do estado para atrair mais investimentos e promover novas oportunidades econômicas na região”, analisa a gerente, que também faz parte do Observatório do Trabalho da Seteem.
Acumulado do ano
No acumulado de 2024, o Brasil apresentou um crescimento de 4,8% no comércio varejista em comparação ao mesmo período do ano anterior e uma variação de 3,9% nos últimos 12 meses. E Sergipe registrou um crescimento superior ao nacional, com 5,3% no ano, e 3,3% nos 12 meses, refletindo um desempenho positivo no cenário regional.
No comércio varejista ampliado, o acumulado de 2024, demonstrou um crescimento brasileiro de 4,5%, em comparação ao mesmo período do ano passado, e uma variação de 3,8% nos últimos 12 meses. Nesse mesmo âmbito, Sergipe apresentou um expressivo crescimento equivalente a 6,9% no ano e 6,8% nos últimos 12 meses, refletindo um desempenho positivo no cenário regional.
