Uma criança autista morreu após cair em um canal no Centro do município de Canindé de São Francisco, na noite dessa última terça-feira, 1º.
Segundo a Polícia Militar, a mãe relatou que estava com a filha na cozinha, mas após alguns minutos, percebeu sua ausência e acionou as autoridades. Havia grande preocupação de que a criança pudesse ter caído no canal que fica em frente à residência.
Equipes da PM, da Guarda Municipal e da Defesa Civil fizeram buscas no canal, acessando sua estrutura interna.
A criança foi localizada e encaminhada ao hospital mais próximo, mas mesmo após tentativa de reanimação, não foi possível reverter o quadro.
O Instituto Médico Legal (IML) foi acionado para recolher o corpo.
