O deputado estadual Ibrain Monteiro (PSC) participou do quarto dia de sessão extraordinária remota da história da Assembleia Legislativa de Sergipe, que desta vez teve a participação do secretário de Estado da Saúde, Valberto Oliveira, que ficou à disposição dos parlamentares para possíveis questionamentos.
Ibrain questionou os estudos técnicos da secretaria sobre a região Centro-Sul do Estado e questionou, mais precisamente sobre o município de Lagarto. O deputado demostrou sua preocupação com a quantidade de leitos de UTI na cidade e até com a questão dos equipamentos de segurança individual (EPIs) para os servidores da Saúde.
Durante os questionamentos que fez ao secretário, Ibrain lhe agradeceu pela forma como conduziu a Pasta e externou sua preocupação com o descumprimento das regras de isolamento social por parte da população. “Estou fazendo a minha parte, cumprindo o isolamento, mas infelizmente na nossa cidade a realidade é diferente e isso é preocupante”.
Sobre a situação do Hospital Universitário de Lagarto, alegando que não tem muitas informações, Ibrain questionou a quantidade de leitos de UTI. Em resposta, o secretário disse que “vamos ficar com 20 leitos de UTI em Lagarto. Adiamos a parte do RH que traríamos de volta, com o fim do acordo que estava em vigência com o Hospital de Lagarto e, por sugestão nossa, em breve teremos 20 leitos de terapia intensiva à disposição”.
