José Eugênio de Oliveira atravessa uma fase muito difícil em sua vida. Seu filho Joserlan está com câncer e está realizando tratamento no Hospital do Câncer de Barretos, em São Paulo, tendo que viajar sempre entre Sergipe e o estado paulista. Porém, mesmo com o tratamento garantido pelo Hospital, não tem encontrado o mínimo de apoio da gestão da prefeita Hilda Ribeiro e da secretária de saúde Polyana Ribeiro para comprar as passagens.
“Ela [a prefeita Hilda Ribeiro] chega ao ponto de tratar com desrespeito a um paciente oncológico”, lamentou o pai. Ouça o áudio completo abaixo:
Ele já havia relatado anteriormente que não encontrou apoio da prefeitura para retornar a Lagarto enquanto estava acompanhando seu filho em Tratamento Fora de Domicílio (TFD) em Barretos. Agora, novamente precisando voltar para São Paulo para dar continuidade ao tratamento próximo dia 26, encontra a desumanidade da gestão municipal em não atender à sua solicitação de passagens.
“O setor de TFD deste município tem agido com bastante descuidado em relação às devidas providências em cumprir com os pagamentos referentes ao programa TFD, bem como tem se omitido em disponibilizar as passagens aéreas com destino a Barretos, sob a alegação de que o município não dispõe mais de licitação para emissão das passagens e que não possui condições nenhuma de viabilizar as mesmas”, ressaltou o pai em um ofício à Secretaria Municipal de Saúde e afirmando que é um direito que assiste a todo o cidadão.
O caso é estarrecedor e demonstra a falta de humanidade da gestão da prefeita Hilda Ribeiro e da secretária de saúde Polyana Ribeiro com pacientes com câncer. O desespero do pai de Joserlan é tão grande que ele teve que procurar a imprensa para denunciar a humilhação que tem sofrido da administração municipal.
