O ex-deputado federal Sérgio Reis foi impedido nesta sexta-feira, 25, de seguir adiante com sua candidatura a prefeito de Lagarto. Ele anunciou que seu irmão, o deputado federal Fábio Reis, disputará a eleição no seu lugar. Sérgio fez um pronunciamento oficial ao lado da família, o pai Jerônimo, a tia Goretti e o irmão Fábio, e do ex-prefeito Zezé Rocha e o pré-candidato a vice-prefeito Joãozinho de Solinha.
Sérgio afirmou que as “forças do mal” que imperam na cidade voltaram a agir e “fizeram com que uma decisão lá de Brasília impedisse, nesse momento, de seguir em frente com meu nome para prefeito do nosso município”.
No comunicado ele continua: “Neste momento, porque agora Fábio seguirá no comando do nosso projeto rumo à vitória e em breve, logo ali, quando a verdade se restabelecerá, estaremos todos juntos tocando a construção de uma nova Lagarto, uma Lagarto do futuro.”
