Após encerrar sua gestão enquanto prefeito de Ilha das Flores com uma aprovação superior a 80% e conduzir a Federação dos Municípios de Sergipe (FAMES) para seu melhor momento em sua história, Cristiano Cavalcante se coloca como pré-candidato a deputado estadual pelo União Brasil (UB).
“Ter sido prefeito de Ilha das Flores foi pra mim um grande aprendizado. Enfrentei desafios, plantei sementes e colhi frutos que transformaram muitas vidas para melhor”, lembra Cristiano, relatando desde ajustes administrativos a investimentos expressivos, principalmente, em infraestrutura, realizados na cidade de pouco mais de 8500 habitantes.
Ao todo, Ilha das Flores recebeu mais de R$ 30 milhões em recursos federais. Como resultado, ainda há obras resultantes do trabalho de Cristiano enquanto prefeito em execução. Em seu mandato, foram realizadas obras de pavimentação na sede e em povoados, reformas e ampliações de escolas, construções de praças e aquisição de veículos.
“Saber que é possível fazer mudanças através da boa política é o que me incentiva a trabalhar. Fizemos isso em Ilha das Flores e nosso trabalho se tornou referência na região. Da mesma forma, fizemos da FAMES uma entidade forte, com o objetivo comum de desenvolver o nosso Estado, estimulando o que temos de bom, gerando oportunidades. Por isso, coloco meu nome à disposição do povo sergipano: quero ver meu Estado crescer com a mesma amplitude de seu potencial”, explicou Cristiano.
