Umas das maiores festas do calendário cultural de Aracaju, o Projeto Verão, já tem data para acontecer neste ano. O evento ocorrerá nos dias 10, 11 e 12 de fevereiro, na Orla da Atalaia. O anúncio foi feito pelo prefeito Edvaldo Nogueira e pelo governador Fábio Mitidieri, através das redes sociais, na tarde desta sexta-feira, 6. Ao divulgar a informação, Edvaldo destacou a importância da parceria para que a festa possa voltar a acontecer na capital sergipana, após dois anos suspensa em decorrência da pandemia da covid-19.
“É com muita felicidade que anuncio a retomada do nosso Projeto Verão para os dias 10, 11 e 12 de fevereiro. Esta é uma grande festa da nossa cidade e fico muito feliz de receber o governador, após a sua posse, para firmar esta primeira grande parceria. Nossas equipes irão se reunir, discutir sobre a organização da festa e, em breve, anunciaremos a programação”, destacou Edvaldo.
Da mesma forma, o governador Fábio Mitidieri reforçou a relevância da festa para a movimentação do estado, além da geração de emprego e renda. “O Projeto Verão é uma festa que nos orgulha, que já se tornou tradição em nossa capital e o Governo do Estado tem uma imensa satisfação em poder contribuir para que ela seja retomada em grande estilo. Reafirmo o compromisso com a capital e este é só o começo desta importante parceria, que se consolidará ainda mais, gerando bons frutos”, afirmou.
A última edição do Projeto Verão ocorreu em fevereiro de 2020. Milhares de pessoas se divertiram na Orla da Atalaia com shows de atrações nacionais de variados ritmos. O evento também contou com forte programação esportiva e cultural. Feirinhas criativas, intervenções artísticas, espaços para diálogos criativos e oficinas culturais, além de diversas atividades esportivas, como lutas, futevôlei e vôlei de praia integraram a programação.
