A segunda maior rodovia do país, a BR-101, que corta o Brasil de norte a sul, terá obras para sua duplicação em pelo menos mais três trechos do Nordeste brasileiro. O anúncio foi feito pelo ministro dos Transportes, Renan Filho, em uma rede social.
De acordo com Filho, foi iniciada a derrubada do Posto Fiscal de Porto Real do Colégio, fundamental, segundo ele, para a duplicação do trecho da rodovia que segue até a ponte – já duplicada -que liga o município à Propriá, em Sergipe.
Ele informou que já também já está em obras a duplicação da BR-101 da divisa entre Alagoas até Aracaju. Da capital sergipana até a divisa com a Bahia, Renan disse que serão publicadas as licitações que garantirão as obras.
“Estamos trabalhando para botar para andar os trechos remanescentes das duplicações da BR-101”, garantiu.
De acordo com o senador licenciado, a expectativa é de que todas essas intervenções sejam concluídas até o final do mandato do presidente Lula (PT).
O Governo Federal anunciou a duplicação do lado norte da BR-101/SE, em janeiro deste ano devido ao reforço orçamentário vindo da Emenda Constitucional do Bolsa Família. Com 25,5 quilômetros de extensão, a previsão do Ministério dos Transportes, por meio do Departamento Nacional de Infraestrutura de Transportes (DNIT), é entregar sete quilômetros duplicados até abril com a retomada e intensificação dos trabalhos.
