Foi preso na manhã desta quinta-feira, 23, no Rio de Janeiro, o principal líder do tráfico de drogas em Sergipe, Breno Vinícius Garção Martins, conhecido como “Breno Matuto” ou “Breno Hamster”. Ele foi encontrado no Complexo de Comunidades da Maré, na Zona Norte do município carioca.
Breno é investigado em Sergipe pelo Departamento de Homicídios e Proteção à Pessoa (DHPP), como um dos envolvidos na morte da influenciadora digital Núbia Cristina Braga, de 23 anos, em outubro de 2022, no Bairro Santa Maria, em Aracaju.
A ação policial foi deflagrada pelo Departamento de Narcóticos (Denarc/SE) e pelo Batalhão de Operações Policiais Especiais (Bope/RJ). A investigação contou com suporte da Divisão de Inteligência e Planejamento Policial (Dipol/SE) e da Polícia Militar do Rio de Janeiro.
De acordo com as informações policiais, Breno estava escondido precisamente na comunidade da Nova Holanda. Na operação policial, as equipes apreenderam um fuzil calibre 5.56, uma pistola calibre 9mm, um notebook, dois telefones celulares e drogas.
Segundo levantamentos, ele fugiu em 2021, com tornozeleira eletrônica, para o Complexo de Favelas da Maré, no Rio de Janeiro, onde servia ao Comando Vermelho e enviava armas, drogas e munições para Sergipe.
Ainda com base na investigação, em Sergipe, foi feita a prisão de uma mulher pelo Denarc, há algum tempo, com um arsenal de milhares de munições. À época, ela confessou em depoimento que Hamster seria o dono do material bélico.
Equipe do Denarc ficou 15 dias dentro do Complexo da Maré, até decidir prender foragido nesta quinta.
O preso e o material apreendido foram encaminhados à Delegacia de Repressão a Entorpecentes (DRE), da Polícia Civil do Rio de Janeiro.
