O prefeito de Porto da Folha, Miguel de Dr. Marcos, pode ficar inelegível por oito anos por crime contra o Fundo de Manutenção e Desenvolvimento da Educação Básica (Fundeb).
Segundo a jornalista, o Município possui 65% de professores contratados, conforme dados do Censo Escolar de 2022, sendo que há uma lei municipal, 180/2002, que permite apenas 5% de contratos na educação do município. “É crime contra o FUNDEB”, destaca Queiroz.
E completa: “Porto da Folha também é o único município sergipano que não se comprometeu em realizar processo seletivo para diretor de escola conforme determina a nova lei do FUNDEB. Com essa recusa, o município perde verbas que garantem pagamento do piso do professor e investimento na escola pública”.
Gleice também destacou que enquanto o crime segue ocorrendo, o Sintese, o Ministério Público, o Tribunal de Contas e a Câmara de Porto da Folha segue em silêncio. “Condenado, o gestor municipal pode ficar 8 anos inelegível”, reforçou.
