Um atleta identificado como Ismael Jeferson Marques de Andrade, de 28 anos, morreu horas após passar mal em uma competição de crossfit na cidade de Maceió (AL) na noite da última sexta-feira (21). Ele era soldado da Polícia Militar de Alagoas e morava no município de Nossa Senhora da Glória (SE).
Segundo a organização do evento, o policial sofreu um quadro de insuficiência renal aguda que desconhecia. No momento do incidente, chegou a ser socorrido por uma equipe no local e encaminhado para uma Unidade de Pronto Atendimento (UPA), mas não resistiu.
Ismael Jeferson entrou na corporação em 2018 e estava lotado no 9º Batalhão de Polícia Militar desde 2019.
Nota da organização do evento
O American Crime Games vem a público manifestar nosso profundo apoio e solidariedade à família do atleta que, fatalmente, veio a óbito na noite do dia 21/04.
Os primeiros socorros foram prestados de maneira imediata por parte da organização do evento. O atleta foi tempestivamente redirecionado a unidade ambulatorial mais próxima. Onde foi internado e recebeu todos os cuidados médicos.
O laudo apontava um quadro de insuficiência renal aguda que, infelizmente, o atleta desconhecia.
Lamentamos o acontecido e externamos, também, nossos sentimentos de acolhimento e condolências aos membros da comunidade do mesmo.

É com profundo sentimento de pesar que informamos o falecimento do SD PM Ismael Jeferson Marques de Andrade. O Policial Militar fazia parte da corporação desde o ano de 2018 e integrava o efetivo do 9° Batalhão desde 2019. SD J. Marques participava de uma competição esportiva de Crossfit onde veio a passar mal e foi socorrido, mas infelizmente, não resistiu. O policial tinha 28 anos, era solteiro e residia em Nossa Senhora da Glória – SE. A alegria era sua característica principal, desenvolvia um bom relacionamento com todos.
Em luto, o Tenente Coronel Winston Santana, manifesta os mais profundos sentimentos de solidariedade à família e amigos. Que Deus, com sua infinita bondade, conforte todos neste momento de dor e saudade.
