O governo federal anunciou que vai antecipar o pagamento do abono anual, informalmente conhecido como décimo terceiro, para beneficiários do INSS para os meses de maio e junho. O decreto prevendo o pagamento do benefício foi assinado nesta quinta-feira (4) pelo presidente Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT).
Têm direito ao abono os segurados do INSS que durante este ano tenham recebido auxílio por incapacidade temporária, auxílio-acidente, aposentadoria, pensão por morte ou auxílio-reclusão.
Segundo o governo federal, o valor será pago em duas parcelas, em maio e junho, de acordo com o calendário habitual de pagamentos do INSS. O benefício normalmente é pago apenas no segundo semestre do ano. Ao todo, serão pagos R$ 62,6 bilhões.
No governo Bolsonaro, o pagamento do 13º aos beneficiários do INSS também foi antecipado para estimular a economia.
Em 2020, as parcelas foram pagas entre abril e junho. Já em 2021, o pagamento aconteceu em maio e julho. Em ambos os anos, a justificativa foi à pandemia de Covid-19. Já em 2022, ano de eleições gerais, o pagamento se deu em maio e junho
