A Delegacia Regional de Propriá, com informações da Divisão de Inteligência (Dipol), deflagrou a Operação Latência contra o tráfico de drogas no Baixo São Francisco sergipano e em Alagoas. A operação tem como objetivo dar cumprimento a um total de 34 mandados de busca e apreensão e de prisão preventiva contra suspeitos de tráfico ilícito de drogas na região ribeirinha. Ao todo, foram cumpridos 10 mandados de prisão e foram feitas três prisões em flagrantes no decorrer da operação, totalizando 13 prisões. A ação policial acontece nesta sexta-feira (5).
Os mandados foram cumpridos nas cidades sergipanas de Propriá, Neópolis e Cedro de São João e, em Arapiraca, no estado de Alagoas. A maior parte das decisões judiciais que já foram cumpridas aconteceram em Propriá.
Em Neópolis, foram cumpridos dois mandados de busca e apreensão e dois de prisão preventiva. Em Cedro de São João, foram cumpridos dois mandados de busca e apreensão. Em Arapiraca, foram cumpridos dois mandados, sendo um de busca e apreensão e outro de prisão preventiva. O restante dos mandados judiciais foram cumpridos em Propriá.
Com os suspeitos, foram apreendidas substâncias semelhantes à maconha e cocaína. Também foi apreendida uma balança de precisão e um aparelho celular, além de dinheiro fracionado oriundo da venda de entorpecentes.
