Faleceu no final da tarde desta sexta-feira, 5 de maio, Dia das Comunicações, o conhecido radialista e jornalista Fernandes Dória.
Dória trabalhou em diversos veículos de comunicação de Sergipe, tanto na capital Aracaju quanto no interior do Estado. Foi dirigente sindical, tendo contribuído de maneira singular para o fortalecimento da sua categoria.
Por vários anos, Fernandes Dória trabalhou como produtor e até apresentador de programas de rádio. Jornalista de texto irretocável,, foi editor e redator de vários jornais.
O velório está sendo realizado no OSAF, localizado na rua Itaporanga, em Aracaju. O sepultamento ocorrerá no cemitério Colina da Saudade, às 11h deste sábado, 6 de maio.

O jornalista Fernandes Doria, primo de Leo Filho, era um tradicional repórter sergipano, do qual fui colega e amigo. Fomos companheiros em várias trincheiras da imprensa estadual, inclusive no Diário de Aracaju e Jornal de Sergipe, que não mais existem. Porém, o Arquivo Histórico ainda guarda muitos textos de nossa autoria. Fazer jornal não era fácil naquele tempo. Os salários eram minguados, o pagamento estava sempre atrasado, mas a vontade e dedicação para trabalhar superava tudo. O Doria foi um desses heróis, que escreveram, com talento e muita garra, o dia-a-dia da população. Certamente, Sergipe não fez justiça a esse grande profissional.
