A deputada federal Yandra Moura, vice-líder do União Brasil, foi eleita na tarde da quarta-feira (14) presidente da Comissão Especial sobre a Perda da Nacionalidade (PEC 16/2021). A parlamentar sergipana foi eleita por unanimidade, resultado do trabalho técnico e de um bom relacionamento no parlamento federal.
A PEC em questão, que será analisada pela Comissão Especial, visa alterar o art. 12 da Constituição Federal para suprimir a perda da nacionalidade brasileira em razão da mera aquisição de outra nacionalidade, ela inclui a exceção para situações de apatridia e acrescenta a possibilidade de a pessoa requerer a perda da própria nacionalidade.
“Agradeço os otos recebidos para me tornar presidente e tenho a certeza que o trabalho com a relatora, a deputada Bia Kicis, será ágil para que possamos entregar o resultado como a população almeja”, disse Yandra ao completar que o resultado final da comissão beneficiará milhares de brasileiros.
A deputada federal Bia Kicis (PL-DF); como 1º vice-presidente foi o deputado Cabo Gilberto (PL-PB); como 2º vice-presidente o deputado Domingos Neto (PSD-CE) e como 3ª vice-presidente a deputada Rogéria Santos (REPUBLICANOS-BA).
