Chico da Deso, como é conhecido, deverá lançar como a candidata a prefeita de Gararu em 2024 pela a quarta vez sua esposa, a ex-prefeita Elizabeth de Chico, que deixou a prefeitura em 2020 com altos índices de rejeição, sendo derrotada pela a atual prefeita Zete de Janjão, que segue na disputa como favorita nas eleições de 2024.
