Cloud nasceu na cidade de Oakland, Califórnia, no ano de 1998. Ele começou a carreira de ator em 2019, quando foi escalado na série de televisão americana de drama adolescente criada por Sam Levinson. O personagem é um traficante de drogas que se torna amigo de Rue, interpretada por Zendaya.
Com performance aclamada pela crítica e fãs, o ator foi indicado ao prêmio de Melhor Ator Coadjuvante em uma Série Dramática no Primetime Emmy Awards de 2020. Além de Euphoria, participou de outros projetos, como o filme North Hollywood (2021) e a série The Line (2023).
