A Polícia Civil de Tobias Barreto, com apoio do Centro de Operações Policiais Especiais de Sergipe (Cope), recuperou uma carga de botijão de gás roubada na última quinta-feira, 3, no município de Itatim, na Bahia. A ação ocorreu nesta sexta-feira, 4, no povoado Sambaíba, também no estado baiano.
Segundo levantamentos policiais, após informações de que uma carreta que transportava botijão de gás teria sido roubada, a Delegacia Regional de Tobias Barreto trocou informações com policiais do Cope de Sergipe, e iniciou as investigações para localizar os produtos e identificar os envolvidos.
Após intenso trabalho investigativo, as equipes policiais localizaram e recuperaram nesta sexta-feira, 4, em uma propriedade localizada no Povoado Sambaíba, na Bahia, cerca de 1,5 mil botijões de gás, avaliados em R$ 350 mil. Um suspeito foi localizado e conduzido à delegacia.
Todo material apreendido foi repassado à Delegacia Especializada de Roubos e Furtos da cidade de Feira de Santana, que prosseguirá com as investigações.
