O presidente da Federação dos Municípios do Estado de Sergipe (FAMES), Alan Andrelino, acompanhado de prefeitos de Sergipe, participará, nesta terça-feira, 15, e quarta-feira, 16, da mobilização promovida pela Confederação Nacional de Municípios (CNM), em Brasília, em defesa dos interesses dos municípios na aprovação da Reforma Tributária e em busca de alternativas para enfrentar a queda de arrecadação dos entes locais.
A mobilização inclui reuniões de bancadas dos gestores municipais de todo o país com senadores dos respectivos Estados, e também já estão previstas agendas com o relator da Reforma Tributária no Senado, Eduardo Braga (MDB-AM), e os presidentes da Câmara e do Senado, Arthur Lira (PP-AL) e Rodrigo Pacheco (PSD-MG), com a finalidade de apresentar as propostas de alteração no texto aprovado pela Câmara.
O presidente Alan Andrelino explica que umas das demandas pautadas pelos gestores municipais é a queda de arrecadação enfrentada pelos municípios. “Esta é uma pauta de grande interesse dos gestores sergipanos, pois conforme informamos anteriormente, a FAMES tem recebido inúmeros protestos de prefeitos preocupados com a queda de arrecadação, não apenas do FPM como também do ICMS e royalties”, pontuou Alan.
O presidente também informou que a FAMES promoverá neste mês, no dia 25, uma reunião com os prefeitos e representantes da CNM e da Secretaria de Estado da Fazenda de Sergipe (Sefaz/SE), para discutir alternativas para a arrecadação dos municípios.
“A CNM, em conjunto com as entidades estaduais municipalistas estão buscando soluções para agilizar a reposição das perdas da arrecadação de recursos. Entre as propostas está o aumento em 1,5% do FPM em março”, revelou o presidente, na esperança de que a problemática seja solucionada e que os municípios possam voltar a gerir a prestação de serviços públicos com segurança.
