Na manhã desta sexta-feira, 18, o deputado federal Gustinho Ribeiro participou da oficialização do programa “Água pra Você”, que inicialmente irá investir R$ 375 milhões para a expansão das infraestruturas de abastecimento de água e saneamento em todo o território sergipano. O programa é uma parceria da Companhia de Saneamento de Sergipe (Deso) e do Banco do Nordeste do Brasil (BNB).
A solenidade foi realizada no Palácio dos Despachos, em Aracaju, e contou com a presença de diversas autoridades políticas como o governador Fábio Mitidieri; o vice-governador Zezinho Sobral; como o presidente do BNB, Paulo Câmara; o diretor presidente da Deso, Luciano Goes; o presidente da Alese Jeferson Andrade; a deputada estadual Áurea Ribeiro; o deputado estadual Luciano Bispo; o prefeito de Aracaju Edvaldo Nogueira; o secretário da Casa Civil Jorginho Araujo e vários prefeitos das cidades contempladas.
“Hoje foi um dia extremamente importante para Sergipe. Investir no abastecimento de água e saneamento básico é investir na saúde e na qualidade de vida dos sergipanos. Mais de 20 municípios serão beneficiados e receberão investimentos históricos, como Tobias Barreto, por exemplo, que tem problemas de abastecimento”, explicou o deputado Gustinho Ribeiro que ainda afirmou que seguirá buscando mais recursos em Brasília para a continuidade do programa.
“Apresentamos hoje um programa que tem a responsabilidade de garantir aos nossos sergipanos o acesso à água. Nosso foco também é fortalecer a Deso, um compromisso que estabelecemos desde a campanha eleitoral. Nosso objetivo sempre foi fortificar a companhia, não vendê-la. E a prova está aqui, estamos fortalecendo a empresa, ao injetar mais de 375 milhões de reais em investimentos para valorizar a Deso, que é um patrimônio do povo sergipano e que não está à venda”, afirmou o governador Fábio Mitidieri.
Do montante total de investimentos, a Deso irá investir R$75 milhões como contrapartida. As cidades Amparo do São Francisco, Aracaju, Boquim, Brejo Grande, Canhoba, Carira, Cumbe, Feira Nova, Frei Paulo, Graccho Cardoso, Ilha das Flores, Itabaiana, Itabi, Moita Bonita, Nossa Senhora das Dores, Nossa Senhora de Lourdes, Nossa Senhora do Socorro, Pedra Mole, Pedrinhas, Pinhão, Pirambu, Poço Redondo, Propriá, Riachão do Dantas, Riachuelo e Tobias Barreto receberão investimentos do programa.
