Na manhã desta segunda-feira, 21, na Grande Aracaju, o Departamento de Homicídios e Proteção à Pessoa (DHPP) cumpriu mandado de prisão preventiva contra um homem investigado por crime de feminicídio. O delito ocorreu no sábado, dia 19, e foi praticado contra a própria sogra do autor, no povoado de Várzea Grande, município de São Cristóvão.
Segundo investigações policiais, durante uma discussão com a companheira e a sogra, o homem usou uma faca do tipo peixeira para desferir um golpe na região do pescoço da senhora, levando-a ao óbito.
Após tomar conhecimento do caso, o DHPP representou pela detenção do suspeito junto ao plantão judiciário. A solicitação do Departamento foi acatada, sendo emitido o mandado de prisão por parte da Justiça.
No final da manhã de hoje, 21, durante diligências, o mandado foi cumprido por integrantes do DHPP. O homem foi levado à unidade prisional e está sob responsabilidade da Justiça.
