A Comissão de Meio Ambiente e Desenvolvimento Sustentável da Câmara dos Deputados aprovou o Projeto de Lei 402/23, que assegura, nas unidades habitacionais do Programa Minha Casa, Minha Vida, espaços exclusivos e cercados destinados a cães e gatos, levando em consideração o número de unidades habitacionais no empreendimento habitacional.
De autoria do deputado Marangoni (União-SP), a proposta inclui a medida na Lei 11.977/09, que trata do programa.
O parecer do relator, deputado Bruno Ganem (Pode-SP), foi favorável à proposta. “O sonho da casa própria para algumas famílias acabou se tornando um verdadeiro pesadelo para os tutores de animais domésticos, tendo em vista que, em alguns casos, eles foram impedidos de levá-los para a nova residência”, denuncia Ganem, acrescentando que o impedimento provoca imenso sofrimento para os pets e seus tutores. “Infelizmente, são alarmantes os inúmeros relatos de que pets foram abandonados em ruas”, completou.
Segundo o parlamentar, o confinamento adequados dos pets com a construção de canis ou de áreas cercadas, “requer investimentos que, muitas vezes, não podem ser realizados pelas parcelas mais carentes da população”.
Tramitação
O projeto será analisado agora, em caráter conclusivo, pelas comissões de Desenvolvimento Urbano; e de Constituição e Justiça e de Cidadania.
