Na madrugada da última segunda-feira, 18, uma mulher em situação de rua morreu após ser atropelada por um carro ainda não identificado na Rodovia Manoel do Prado Franco, na altura do povoado Taiçoca de Fora, em Nossa Senhora do Socorro. O acidente foi registrado por uma câmera de segurança.
Nas imagens, é possível ver a vítima atravessando e sendo atingida pelo veículo, que fugiu do local sem prestar socorro. Ela chegou a ser socorrida pelo Serviço de Atendimento Móvel de Urgência (Samu) e encaminhada ao Hospital de Urgência de Sergipe (HUSE), em Aracaju, mas não resistiu. Equipes da Criminalística e Instituto Médico Legal (IML) já fizeram os exames periciais.
Diante do ocorrido, a Polícia Civil informou que um inquérito foi instaurado pela 5ª Delegacia Metropolitana (5ª DM) para investigação e identificação do condutor envolvido no atropelamento; e que informações relacionadas ao caso podem ser repassadas ao Disque-Denúncia (181).
