Em junho deste ano, o diretor-presidente do Hospital de Amor, Henrique Prata, lançou o livro “O Parque dos Lobos – A medicina privada do dinheiro limitando a prática da saúde pública” em Barretos, São Paulo. O novo livro esclarece e convoca a sociedade para o enfrentamento dos entraves que dificultam a existência de uma saúde pública de qualidade no Brasil.
Na publicação, Henrique Prata dedica um capítulo especial a Sergipe. Nele, o diretor do Hospital de Amor lembra da luta para a construção de uma unidade em Sergipe. Ele lembra que tudo começou em 2019 e destaca ainda as diversas reuniões com representantes do Governo do Estado para a unidade ser construída.
Ainda no livro, Henrique Prata destaca o trabalho do deputado federal Gustinho Ribeiro para a construção da unidade. “Estávamos andando pelos corredores do congresso quando nos encontramos com um deputado federal (Gustinho Ribeiro) muito conhecido, que era marido da prefeita de Lagarto, e aproveitei para conversar e lhe pedir que comprasse a nossa briga”.
Henrique Prata lembra de uma fala de Gustinho Ribeiro e da forma como o deputado foi incisivo. “Olhe, Henrique, se você tiver mesmo coragem, vamos reunir a bancada, falar com o líder e vender sua ideia”, destaca trecho do livro. O diretor do Hospital de Amor convenceu os parlamentares a destinarem emenda para a construção do hospital. “Dito e feito, apoiaram-me e prometeram um aporte de 100 milhões”.
Henrique Prata destaca ainda que o deputado Gustinho Ribeiro o levou até Lagarto para uma conversa com a prefeita Hilda Ribeiro. “E foi o que expliquei à prefeita, esposa do deputado, quando ela, cordialmente, me recebeu. Ela disse: Henrique, se você quer o terreno, eu vou comprar. Vamos pedir autorização para a Câmara e resolver esse assunto”, lembra Henrique Prata no livro.
O deputado federal Gustinho Ribeiro foi um entusiasta da chegada do Hospital de Amor de Lagarto. Ele já destinou quase R$ 30 milhões para a obra e tem sido constante lutador pela causa. A expectativa é que o Hospital de Amor de Lagarto seja inaugurado no início do próximo ano.
