De acordo com os bombeiros, o piloto da aeronave Fernando Kawahata Barreto e um funcionário de uma empresa terceirizada que prestava serviços ao aeroporto, morreram na hora.
Além disso, o acidente também deixou outras duas vítimas que foram encaminhadas para o hospital por um helicóptero do Centro Integrado de Operações Aéreas (Ciopaer). As chamas causadas pelo acidente foram controladas pelos militares.
Em nota, o grupo Bom Futuro lamentou o acidente e informou que a empresa presta serviços de hangaragem e que o avião envolvido não é da empresa.
O Serviço Regional de Investigação e Prevenção de Acidentes Aeronáuticos (Seripa IV), da Força Aérea Brasileira (FAB), também informou que a equipe já foi comunicada sobre o acidente e que segue acompanhando o caso.
As causas do acidente ainda serão investigadas pela Delegacia Especializada de Homicídios e Proteção a Pessoa (DHPP).
