Mais sete carros 0km foram entregues pelo prefeito Carivaldo Souza para reforçar a frota da Secretaria Municipal de Transportes, e melhor atender a população de Macambira com segurança e conforto. A solenidade aconteceu na praça da feira, durante a manhã desta segunda (23/10).
Foram seis veículos Citroën C3 Live e um Fiat Strada, que será destinado, especialmente, para agilizar os trabalhos da Secretaria de Obras.
Nos últimos dois anos, o gestor já entregou ambulância, caminhão pipa, retroescavadeira, trator, quatro Fiat Argo, e o secretério do Planejamento, Admistração e da Fazenda, Breno Souza, informou que, em breve, serão adquiridos outros novos veículos.
O prefeito aproveitou a oportunidade para destacar a grande demanda por transporte público no município, seja para deslocamento dentro ou fora da cidade. “Vale lembrar também que Macambira é uma das poucas cidades da região que disponibiliza, de forma 100% gratuita, o serviço de transporte aos estudantes universitários”, comentou Carivaldo.
Estavam presentes secretários municipais, servidores, vereadores e a comunidade.
