Em clima de alegria e satisfação, foi reinaugurada nesta quarta-feira, 25, a Escola Municipal Professora Mirena Machado do Nascimento, localizada no Povoado Candeal da Cajazeira. A instituição é a 52ª beneficiada pelo Projeto “Renova Escola” da Prefeitura de Lagarto, por meio da Secretaria da Educação.
“Com essa reforma chegamos à marca de 70% de escolas revitalizadas, graças a Deus, um número considerável. Estamos desde 2020 trabalhando incansavelmente para atingir a meta de reformar todas as unidades de ensino e trazer bem-estar e conforto para a nossa comunidade escolar”, afirmou o secretário da Educação, professor Magson Almeida.
A secretária de Governo, Rafaela Ribeiro, parabenizou a equipe da gestão pelo empenho em revitalizar esse número considerável de escolas e creches. “Entendemos que a educação é um serviço primordial para o desenvolvimento da nossa sociedade”.
A prefeita Hilda Ribeiro, emocionada, destacou: “Hoje é um dia de celebração para nossa cidade e para a educação. Ver essa escola revitalizada é um grande passo para garantir um futuro melhor para nossas crianças.”
A Escola Mirena Machado foi fundada em 1984, passou por pequenos reparos em 2012, mas foi agora em 2023 que a instituição foi reformada de fato. A unidade oferece Educação Infantil e Ensino Fundamental até o 5° ano e conta com 34 alunos.
Nesta revitalização foram realizadas pintura em todo o prédio escolar, melhoria na rampa da entrada da Escola, troca das portas dos banheiros e das salas de aula, retelhamento, melhoria no piso do pátio, da cozinha, do banheiro, além de revisão elétrica e hidráulica.
