O Brasil fechou o 10º mês do ano com resultado positivo para exportações em 2023. Ao todo, entre janeiro e outubro, foram exportados US$ 140 bilhões, de acordo com o Ministério da Agricultura e Pecuária (Mapa). O aumento em relação ao mesmo período do ano passado foi de 3%.
A soja liderou as exportações com 43,3% do total (US$ 60,45 bilhões), a carne ficou em segundo, com 14% do total (US$ 19,52 bilhões) e o açúcar, em seguida, representando 9,4% (US$ 13,07 bilhões).
O agronegócio representou 49,4% das exportações totais brasileiras e a Ásia foi o principal destino dos produtos no período, com 53,4% de participação, sendo que a China foi o maior comprador individual, com US$ 51,10 bilhões. Os dados foram divulgados pela Secretaria de Comércio e Relações Internacionais.
De acordo com o economista Newton Marques, as exportações do agro são “essenciais” para aumentar o PIB do país. “As exportações de qualquer país depende das importações dos outros países. Nós mandamos para a Argentina, China, Estados Unidos porque temos produtos que podem ser competitivos senão eles não comprariam, primeiro eles têm a necessidade e tem a competitividade. Uma das formas de conseguirmos dólares é por exportações”, comenta.
Neste ano, foram abertos 71 mercados até o momento, com destaque para os novos mercados de farinha e óleo de peixe para a Colômbia e carnes enlatadas bovina e suína para o Japão.
No entanto, Marques afirma que esses números poderiam ser ainda maiores, com mais investimentos em infraestrutura, por exemplo.
“A gente precisa de estradas, ferrovias, portos, aeroportos de qualidade, porque é dessa forma que os produtos saem, então quando a gente tem esse tipo de dificuldade na infraestrutura acaba encarecendo e dificultando as exportações. E ainda tem a questão tributária, nós estamos tratando agora da reforma tributária para justamente diminuir este impacto que existe no valor final do produto”, analisa o economista.
No mês de outubro deste ano, as exportações do agronegócio foram de US$ 13,38 bilhões, o que significa um número 2,3% menor que na comparação com os US$ 13,68 bilhões exportados em outubro de 2022.
