Uma idosa de 90 anos foi encontrada viva em um necrotério da cidade de São José, na Grande Florianópolis, em Santa Catarina, horas depois de o hospital onde ela estava internada tê-la declarado morta, no último sábado (25).
Após a constatação do falso óbito, Norma Silveira da Silva voltou a ser hospitalizada, mas morreu na madrugada de segunda-feira (27).
Quem percebeu que a vítima ainda estava viva foi o funcionário de um crematório, que foi ao necrotério buscar o cadáver. Ele notou que o corpo da idosa estava quente e ainda não estava rígido.
A cuidadora Jéssica Silvi Pereira, de 30 anos, amiga de Norma, relatou que a vítima deu entrada no Hospital Regional de São José Doutor Homero de Miranda com a saúde bastante debilitada. A idosa teria sido levada para a sala de reanimação.
“No sábado à tarde, eu fui visitá-la, e ela abriu o olho. Não tinha muitos estímulos, mas conseguiu abrir o olho e viu que estávamos ali”, conta a amiga. No sábado à noite, ela e um filho da idosa receberam a notícia de que ela tinha morrido.
Na declaração de óbito emitida pelo hospital, e à qual a reportagem teve acesso, consta que Norma Silveira da Silva teria morrido por “infecção do trato urinário”. Segundo Jéssica, o corpo da vítima foi enviado para o necrotério sem que a família pudesse ver a idosa.
Foi aí que o funcionário do crematório suspeitou, abriu o saco que envolvia a idosa e percebeu que ela estava respirando.
Após ser hospitalizada novamente, Norma morreu, no começo da madrugada de segunda-feira. A segunda declaração de óbito emitida pela unidade aponta como causa de morte “choque séptico”, provocado por “sepse com foco indefinido”.
Jéssica diz que ela e a família não tiveram explicações claras sobre a morte de Norma por parte dos médicos.
Procurados, o Hospital Regional de São José Doutor Homero de Miranda e a Secretaria da Saúde de Santa Catarina não haviam se manifestado sobre o caso até a publicação deste texto.
O Conselho Regional de Medicina do Estado catarinense afirmou que “tomou conhecimento da situação e vai instaurar procedimento adequado para acompanhar o caso”.
