O deputado estadual Ibrain de Valmir (PV) participou, neste fim de semana, do tradicional Casamento Caipira do povoado Brejo, em Lagarto. Em sua 34ª edição, a celebração já é uma das mais aguardadas da região durante o ciclo junino e representa um importante símbolo da cultura popular lagartense.
Ao lado do prefeito Sérgio, de moradores, organizadores e lideranças locais, Ibrain destacou a importância de manter vivas as tradições que fortalecem a identidade do povo do interior. “O Casamento Caipira do Brejo é mais do que uma festa: é um patrimônio afetivo e cultural que atravessa gerações. É uma alegria enorme poder participar ao lado do prefeito Sérgio Reis e apoiar iniciativas como essa, que enchem de orgulho nosso povo e movimentam a economia local”, afirmou.
Com muita animação, música, danças típicas e encenação do casamento matuto, o evento reuniu centenas de pessoas e reforçou o papel das comunidades na preservação das manifestações culturais. O deputado também ressaltou que seguirá defendendo investimentos em cultura popular e eventos que promovam o turismo, a economia criativa e o pertencimento cultural nos municípios do interior.
