Governo de Sergipe reforça transparência e segurança ambiental em audiência com MPF sobre nova ponte Aracaju–Barra

Representantes do Governo do Estado participaram, nesta quinta-feira, 11, de uma audiência no Ministério Público Federal em Sergipe (MPF/SE) para tratar de aspectos ambientais e jurídicos relacionados ao projeto da nova ponte que ligará Aracaju ao município da Barra dos Coqueiros. A reunião teve como foco central o alinhamento de procedimentos referentes ao Estudo de Impacto Ambiental (EIA) e ao Relatório de Impacto Ambiental (Rima), ambos já apresentados ao órgão.

Durante a audiência, a gestão estadual destacou a qualidade dos estudos técnicos elaborados para o projeto da nova ponte, reforçando que ambos os documentos fornecem uma base sólida e confiável para o processo de licenciamento. Além disso, as equipes enfatizaram que tanto o EIA quanto o Rima cumprem as exigências legais e técnicas, oferecendo segurança para a tomada de decisões e garantindo que a obra seja conduzida dentro dos padrões de sustentabilidade ambiental.

A importância da transparência e da participação da comunidade para concretização do projeto também foi pauta da reunião, que incluiu discussões acerca de ações estratégicas para ampliar os canais de comunicação com a sociedade e incorporar medidas adicionais que mitiguem ou compensem possíveis impactos ambientais da obra.

O secretário de Estado do Desenvolvimento Urbano e Infraestrutura, Luiz Roberto Dantas, ressaltou a relevância do diálogo entre todas as instituições envolvidas. “Muitas das medidas já foram realizadas em acordo com o MPF. O objetivo desta reunião foi alinhar pontos ainda pendentes relacionados à recomendação do órgão, que já constam no EIA e no Rima entregues. Esses documentos serão analisados mais uma vez pelo Ministério Público e pelo órgão licenciador, que iniciou a avaliação com notificações e recomendações”, explicou.

O diretor-presidente da Adema, Carlos Anderson, reforçou a cooperação institucional no processo de licenciamento. “Esta reunião é uma sequência das conversas que já mantemos com o MPF. Houve uma recomendação inicial de suspensão das audiências, indicando ações a serem observadas na fase de licenciamento, todas muito pertinentes. Por isso, as audiências públicas realizadas no final do mês passado e início deste mês deram continuidade a esse trabalho, garantindo consenso e assegurando ao máximo a redução dos impactos ambientais nas áreas de influência direta e indireta da ponte”, destacou Anderson.

“O projeto da nova ponte é estratégico para Sergipe e, portanto, precisa avançar conforme a legislação ambiental, com total transparência junto à população. O diálogo estabelecido com o Ministério Público Federal demonstra maturidade institucional e reforça o compromisso do Estado em garantir que este empreendimento, assim como outros do Executivo, esteja alinhado à sustentabilidade”, enfatizou o procurador-geral do Estado, Carlos Pinna Júnior.
